TrafficHoopla On Steroids

No My Boys Don’t Take Steroids

I recently shared pics of my family to you, and no, no one here asked if my boys take steroids, but those who play baseball with them do, and often. At 13 and 15, both are big boys, tall for their age, talented, and athletic, and teammates often joke about the roids Mrs. Carr is supposedly feeding them. Yesterday, as a coach, I finally put a stop to it, because in this day and age, this is not something to joke about.

http://traffichoopla.com/the-hoopla-family/

Speaking of steroids, a new Hoopla! Pro bonus added today. Liz Tomey’s Link Building On Steroids. No, we are not selling it here, it’s yours free, to all Hoopla! Pro members.

In addition, for the next 4 days (maybe 5-until early Monday AM), I will leave January’s bonus, e-book on how to write copy like the pros, up as a 3rd bonus.

This means all existing pro members, and any new upgrades will get all the normal benefits (testing reports, increased commissions, etc.), plus a total of 3 bonuses worth at least a dozen times more than what you are paying.

Note To Existing Pro Members: You might want to email your downline today, or in the next few days, and encourage them to upgrade.

No doubt about it, no debate, no argument, we are over delivering on everything here at TrafficHoopla.

Safelist Report January 29 2009

Best Safelist Jan 29

The Safelist Report for January 29 2009 is now published.

Safelist testing makes a difference.

Statistics this week cover December 27 to January 27, 2009. The Safelist Report is updated every Thursday. Next update: February 5 2009.

Top 10 safelists are selected based on overall performance for the last six weeks. The ranking is determined by using statistics that can be measured and verified.

Why just 10 Safelist? Although there are hundreds of safelists online today, statistically most are worthless. From our testing and advertising experience, 20 safelists are good and 10 are best.

Focus on the best to increase and maximize your advertising.

Safelist Report Testing & Rankings Change

Safelist Testing & Rankings Change.

We are expanding stats collected and analyzed.

So true, 95% of all Safelist are worthless, meaning, totally ineffective, meaning, no responses to our ads, ever, meaning, no results.

Starting with today’s Safelist Report, which is updated every Thursday, we are expanding stats collected and analyzed, and changing the components for which the overall rankings are determined.

Most notable, only those Safelist generating results, will rank, and this will apply no matter how many or how few.

A similar expansion of our testing took place more than a year ago with the Hit Exchanges, including both primary and secondary results, as well as few other components that reflect viewer activity. That expansion not only took Hoopla! Hit Exchange Rankings up another notch, it kept growth on a steady and consistent past, and it also contributed to all time records of pro membership.

Safelist testing/ranking components: Hits + Primary Conversion + Secondary Conversion + Bounce Rate + New Visitor = Overall Rankings.

The new overall Safelist Rankings may be viewed within your account under 3rd Join Section.
In addition, existing Hoopla! Pro members may login to the testing reports (within your members account, go to testing reports from left column menu), and go to Safelist Report to view full and the most current report.

If you’ve never seen one of our testing reports, and I’m not talking about the overall ranking, each report is like an EBOOK, useful info, how to info, and advance info. Use each report to learn, make plans, and organize your Safelist advertising.

Last note of importance, our testing reports are guides, smart advertisers read them weekly, take notes, use them as their guide for planning and organizing current advertising. Use whatever info and rankings best work for you.

We are here to help.

The Hit Exchange Report January 27, 2009 is now online.

Statistics this week cover December 25 to January 25, 2009. The Hit Exchange Report is updated every Tuesday. Next update: February 3, 2009.

The Top 20 is a ranking of overall performance for the most recent six-week testing period. We use the data we collect to determine a composite score when determining our Top 20 each week.

We bring statistics and critical thinking together. The Hit Exchange Report tests for user responsiveness. We’re very interested that you receive real visitors viewing your site, and not just people surfing through pages. That’s why we now analyzes traffic for responsiveness on five different levels. Are people really looking at your website? That’s why testing is important, and why the Hit Exchange Report is so crucial.

Stats and Results

Stats and Results

TrafficHoopla.com traffic is up 28.58%, during the past 30-days.

We celebrate 6 years in February.

The 60,000 member mark is forecasted for about the same time.

This week, we averaged 12 new upgrades (not renewals) a day.

Thank You!!!

=========================
Have you seen this splash page? Today? Change the 1 to your account number, and it’s ready for you to use in promoting your TrafficHoopla.

http://traffichoopla.com/cgi-bin/results.cgi/1/

Believe me, people are most interested in results.

Keep in mind, your results are most important, but our 7703 results recorded during the past 30-days are certainly worthy for all to take note of, use as a guide, and consider when making current advertising plans.

Now before you run off and check the leader board, who’s generating the most results, there are other components to consider when making a list of your best hit exchanges (aka - traffic exchanges).

Many, literally thousands, reference the Hoopla! Rankings each week. Most likely, these rankings and our methods (independent statistical testing), are a key reason why you are here. So how do we determine a top 20 each week?

First, on average, we collect and analyze 1,000,000 (MILLION) for each report, from more than 1700 sites. And then, each of the following equally weighed components determine the overall Top 20.

Delivery + Unique + Sitting Balance + Bounce Rate + New Visitors + Actual Results = Overall Ranking.

My encouragement to all is to read/review the full Hit Exchange every week. Take notes of the various rankings, make current advertising plans accordingly, and focus on whatever components are most important to you.

This thing we do here has never been about celebrating and/or rewarding program owners (Hit Exchange and Safelist owners). They exist because of your and me, their customers, their clients, and we all in the advertising business to build our businesses. As a professional, a smarter-than type of person, it’s wise to focus on the very best, where the crowd is, where results are being generated.

Side Note: Our 7703 results recorded during the past 30-days include both primary results (signup’s, sales, and similar) and secondary. Secondary results are various goals created to engage viewers, record their activity, basically testing whether or not real people are viewing our ads, and are they responding.

Side Note2: The results splash page listed earlier will now be updated twice a week, Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Multi-Tab Browser

Multi-Tab Browser

We have and use all the latest and popular web browsers, but our favorite for surfing top ranked manual hit exchanges is Maxthon.

Maxthon is an excellent, free, clean, web browser. If you are already using a multi-tab browser, pleased, then keep using it.

Here is how I use Maxthon to surf for credits the current top ranked manual hit exchanges.
Open Maxthon, pull up TrafficHoopla.com, and login to your account. Assuming you have already setup your TrafficHoopla, and following our instructions, go to the 1st Join Section.

In the 1st Join Section, click on each of the current Top 5 hit exchanges, each will open in a seperate tab. If they don’t, go to Tools (top Maxthon menu) and Maxthon options, and review/check settings.

Close your TrafficHoopla tab, and click the member login link for each of these Top 5 exchanges, but don’t login yet. You should have 5 tabs, 5 exchanges open at this time.

Go to Groups ( Maxthon top menu) and save all as a group, maybe call it Group Top 5. Now close out the Maxthon browser and then open it again. With no tabs (sites) open, go to Groups and click Group Top 5. All 5 of these exchanges should open, each in a seperate tab, and each on it’s member login page.

Quickly, login to each and start a surfing for credits session. Once all 5 have started, use your F3 key with one hand to move to each tab, use your mouse in the other hand to click the appropriate credit earning link for each, and move on to the next.

If you are new to Hit Exchange advertising, take your time, learn, get into a routine, and then expand from there. It is likely, reasonable, normal to earn credits for viewing 3 or more sites each minute when surfing 5 exchanges at a time.

Again, F3 key to move forward to each tab, click the appropriate credit earning link for each, and move on to the next. F3, click, F3, click, F3, click, it’s smooth and productive.

When ready to expand, create more groups for all the current Top 20, and the size each group based on your ability to manage.

One last note, all the latest and popular web browsers offer tab browsing. This same concept, method, process can be adapted to all browsers.

Speaking of Hoopla, Do Safelist Work?

Speaking of Hoopla, Do Safelist Work?

I, for one, am a big Hit Exchange user, always have been. But any seasoned marketer, including myself, will tell you this is advertising, we all are in the advertising biz, and one of the things we do daily is planting seeds, everywhere, including using current Top Ranked Safelist.

There may be more Safelist than traffic exchanges, maybe, but the fact is something like 95% are absolutely worthless. We know, we’ve literally tested thousands, continue to test, new and old, every day.

The thing is, consistent for the past 10-years or so, we make sales every day, from the current Top Ranked Safelist. Do Safelist work? We think so.

Now the one thing about Safelist that surprises me a little is how popular they are in TrafficHoopla. I would have guessed that Hit Exchanges dominated Hoopla, but this is not necessarily the case. Yes, Hit Exchanges here, overall, do generate more activity and signup’s, but there is a large group of members here that love Safelist, swear by them, and use their Hoopla only for Safelist.

Looking at the Hoopla! Impact to this industry, we’ve always sent big numbers to the exchanges, averaging more than 200 a week to those ranked best, and especially big signup numbers to newly rank. For an example, we sent more than 1200 people to MajorLeagueHits in the past 4-weeks, and more than 800 to TrafficWitch in the past 3-weeks.

Here are a few examples of signups we’ve sent to current top ranked Safelist during the past 6-weeks: 716 to Elite, 836 to FreeSafelistMailer, and 870 to Posh.

If you don’t use Safelist for advertising, my encouragement is to do so. However, if you are new to these methods of advertising, first use the Hit Exchanges (1st and 2nd Join), and then expand your advertising to Safelist.

Safelist advertising can be more time consuming. Create a game plan, a schedule, be consistent, and do it daily. We do offer a useful guide about managing your Safelist advertising, the Safelist Guide, and it’s included in Hoopla! Pro.

One last thought about Hoopla! and Safelist, there is a lot of hoopla out there. Please don’t do what you see most people do. If it looks like, reads like it’s from a used car salesman, it won’t work. Take a more professional approach, be consistent, the long term, I promise you will do well.

Have a good weekend. We are here to help every day. Weekends are big in this biz. It’s an excellent time to organize, learn, and advertise.

TrafficHoopla Commissions

It’s Commission Day

The sun is shining here today, and I’m not talking about the weather. It’s commission day, and we just sent out a record number.

Today, the 15th of the month, is commission day around here. Both Free Affiliates and Hoopla! Pro members have the opportunity to earn a commission, pro members 50 percent, and all is sent out today, no minimum required.

I love Hoopla, we all love commissions, and I love sharing it with all. There were several here who received more than 320, mostly from 50 percent of OTO for One Year Pro. Yes, we pay 50% on special upgrades too.

Figuring commissions is fun, especially since big numbers mean big sales, and this is how we keep the lights on and shoes on our kids feet around here. December was a record, more pro members than ever before, and today’s numbers are even greater. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!!!

For the record, and for encouragement, TrafficHoopla is not about making dough, that’s your biz, we are all about building traffic. View your Hoopla!, and other advertising resources, as essential and useful tools (resources) for building your business.

If you do not have a biz, don’t fret, read this.

If you love your TrafficHoopla, love getting commissions too, share your comments here —

The Secret F3 Key, F2 and F8 Too!

The Secret F3 Key

The secret F3 key, F2 and F8 too!

I am frequently asked about surfing the hit exchanges, how to increase productivity and maximize earnings.

I realize I already shared on this topic recently, but new people join us every day, and it is common on support.

Tab browsing is the norm today with all the popular Internet browsers, and I can’t imagine working online today, doing anything, without a tab browser.

Yes, all the latest browsers, from IE to Mozilla, including Google Chrome, offer tabs. The function allows for opening multiple sites in one browser, each in a separate tab. It’s less resources hungry and it is convenient.

And contrary some beliefs, tab browsing wasn’t created for hit exchanges. In fact, most of the Internet world has never heard of a hit exchange, which means our potential, upside, continues strong.

Today, I surfed some of the top ranked hit exchanges, as I do every day, yes, every day. Most important to me, unusual and unique, is that I do exactly what I teach others to do. And the secret to my success, to your success is found in the daily routine.

My daily routine includes surfing the current top ranked hit exchanges. My typical focus follows the overall rankings, greater focus to those ranked higher, but I also give attention to other rankings/stats, such as results, unique, new visitor, etc, all found in the full Hit Exchange Report, available to Hoopla! Pro members.

Each week, on Tuesday, after the current Hit Exchange Report, I create/updated groups on my favorite browser, Maxthon.com (free). I like it best on account of the ease in creating groups, pull all sites within a group up at one time, and the F3 and F2 function key for moving amongst tabs.

I am not sure why the other popular browsers don’t include these shortcuts, most tab browsers offer no real or convenient shortcut, but Maxthon does, the secret F3 key.

By the way, using Maxthon, F3 key moves forward and F2 backwards.

No special downloads, no special programs, no special setup, right out of the box, F3 and F2 key works on Maxthon, and makes surfing the hit exchanges in groups productive and convenient too.

Now here is something for all those Mozilla Firefox people, and yes, I use all top browsers, for one thing or another.

Tab Mix Plus is an extension/add-on, and the F8 key rotates tabs every set amount of time. If you have Tab Mix Plus, go to Tools and then Tab Mix Plus Options, and under events you’ll find this setting. If not, go to tools, then Addons, and search for it.

So if you open 5 or more of the best hit exchanges, bookmark as a group, login and start a surf session, use the F8 to start the rotation, then click the appropriate credit earning link for each as the tab rotates.

What is the point of all this? First, this is an advertising business, we all are here to advertise our biz, all successful businesses advertise, daily, and using these ideas/methods will increase both productivity and earnings.

One last suggestion, a topic for another day, if looking to increasing earning potential, an increase credit ratio, consider upgrading in the top ranked hit exchanges, and the best place to start is the current #1.

There is a lot of Hoopla! going around these days, as is the norm in both Internet marketing and the advertising biz in general.

16.21 and 3712, our Hoopla! for the day.

Our traffic is up 16.21% for the past 30-days.

We’ve registered 3712 results during the past 30-days.

And here’s one more exciting, brouhaha, buzz type note: We are experiencing a greater than 2% conversion rate at 5 top-ranked manual hit exchanges, and a greater than 1% at another 9. In this biz, these are excellent numbers, certainly worthly of all the Hoopla!

You do know the meaning of Hoopla! in our name? Read about it here —http://traffichoopla.com/hoopla-is

Here’s an interesting topic, update emails, and you’re invited to share your opinion.
Over the past few years, there is a significant increase of support/admin/program update emails. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

The fact is no support/admin/program updates tells us all one thing, maybe two things, we’re dead, and we don’t care.

Good updates, on a regular basis, shows activity, reveals customer service, and reminds us all of your services.

Bad updates, frequent or infrequent, are all about other stuff.

The ugly, are also bad, sent multiple times a day, selling everything and the kitchen sink, and resemble the used care salesmen we all hate.

I have nothing against used car salesmen, or any of the other professions commonly viewed as steotypical negative. And if my profession, Internet marketing, is viewed as a steotypical negative, as it is, I’m working hard to combat and improve my image, even at the cost of making an extra sale.

I’m not new to this business, TrafficHoopla has been here 6-years, more than 58226 members, yet I continue to struggle with this topic and find a happy/perfect medium. Although, I am pleased to report that both our unsubscribed rate and complaint rate are extremely low, well below the norms.

And yes, I do understand, used car salesmen make sales, sometimes lots of sales, as well as those sending ugly updates, it’s just the not the TrafficHoopla way, it’s not my thing.

We want and appreciate your business.
Sincerely

We Are Not About Promoting Other Stuff

TrafficHoopla Is Not About “Other Stuff”

Have you noticed a trend to my emails, something rather unusual, unique, for this business?

No, I’m not talking about the weather comments of late. BIG SMILE!

What I’m talking about here, has been characteristic of my emails since day one, from the beginning of TrafficHoopla, February 2003.

What is it about my emails that is unusual and unique?

It’s the fact, a habit, I don’t promote “other stuff” in these support emails.

The fact is, simply put, TrafficHoopla is not about “other stuff.”

Now before I go on here, yes, I do understand this is an advertising business. I understand Internet marketing, and selling to your list. And, I certainly can understand promoting “other stuff” when “other stuff” is an additional product of your biz.

However …

People in general, all over the world, shortening attention spans. In this biz, online advertising biz, distractions are the worst enemy.

In TrafficHoopla, and this applies to all IM businesses, we need continual growth, and we need active clients. Therefore, if a client logins, why would we send them away to “other stuff?”

Join-Venture Offers are plentiful around here, and from some of the nicest people in this business. For the record, I am not against JV’s, but rarely participate because, bottom line, it doesn’t do anything for TrafficHoopla.

One of these nicest people recently asked me to JV, their niche was a good idea and a useful service, I’m certain you would have agreed. I then took a closer look, login, and discovered a supermarket in addition to the niche, and this is a problem for me.

I have no problems sending people to a good and useful niche product/service. However, when you including up-selling, and all the other IM selling techniques, for an entire supermarket of products/services, I have a huge problem.

2 Critical Questions:
How does this benefit both my clients and my biz?Are there any leftovers?
Similar, but a topic for another day, the negatives of sending your clients to the “Big Dogs.”
