How To Increase Web Site Traffic
By TrafficHoopla Team July 29, 2008
Insanity is
Doing The Same Thing
Time and Again and
Expecting Different Results
Stopping to know what you’re doing and why isn’t a one-time activity. It must be a daily activity. Spend time every morning to think about the coming day. Set aside twelve times a year to plan your month. And spend one whole week each year reflecting and evaluating, to measure the year that’s passed, to plan the year that’s coming, and to stay on track with your purpose.
The world stands aside to let anyone pass who knows where he is going.

Missing From The Hit Exchange Report
July 29, 2008
Missing From The Hit Exchange Report
Fact: There are several popular, well known, pretty, favorites, ‘good ole boy’ owned manual hit exchanges that are never ranked in the Hit Exchange Report’s Top 20.
Why is this?
First, our testing is 100% independent and based on statistical testing data only.
Second, we give no consideration for popularity, prettiness, or any other similar anecdotal evidence.
Third, results matter, and typically those exchanges described above and not ranked in the Top 20 do not produce results.
An important note: If a manual hit exchange is large/popular, we are collecting and analyzing thousands of hits from them. And when, if, they produce competing stats, they will rank.
A second important note: The Hit Exchange Report develops and evolves to serve the advertising concerns of the online business community. New statistical software and analysis applications are made available on a regular basis. Independent resources are used to monitor the hit exchanges. No one component is all-important in and of itself. We use the data we collect to determine a composite score when determining our Top 20 each week.
Delivery + Unique + Sitting Balance + Bounce Rate + New Visitors + Actual Results = Overall Ranking.
A third important note: The most current and full Hit Exchange Report includes various rankings, summaries, benchmarks, useful info, advanced info, raw data, and much more. A wise marketer will use whatever info best works for them in order to plan, adjust, and maximize their advertising. We are here to help you.

Hit Exchange Results Matter!!!
July 29, 2008
Hit Exchange Results Matter!!!
Plain and simple, 100% independent, without regards to popularity, no consideration for prettiness, no chads to mess with, the overall Top 20 ranking is determined by —
Delivery + Unique + Sitting Balance + Bounce Rate + New Visitors + Actual Results = Overall Ranking.
Raw Hits - We take into consideration the sheer volume of traffic the Hit Exchange produces, apart from the quality of that traffic otherwise. Our system is designed so raw hits alone will not bring a Hit Exchange into the Top 20. We receive upwards of one million hits a month for analysis.
Unique Hits – Ten-thousand hits is ten-thousand hits, right? Not exactly. Is the Hit Exchange sending one person a hundred times to look at your site, or are they sending 100 different people? Where between these two extremes is the hit exchange performing?
Credits that don’t move - Which Hit Exchanges are sitting on our credits? Hit Exchanges sitting on more than 50% of our credits are highlighted in red in the tables below. Statistics in this category are determined by comparing hits not sent to the total hits available for the most current six-week period.
Auto-Surfing and Auto-Refreshing is NEVER a consideration. Adjustments are made to compensate for programs where auto-surfing and auto-refreshing are possible.
Raw Tracking Analysis represents hits to special tracking used to judge action or non-action on the part of visitors. Some hit exchanges have more responsive visitors than others.
Special Tracking Results shows the percentage of visitors that completed the action for each specific hit exchange. This is known as the rate of conversion.
The Bounce Rate indicates what percentage of visitors looked at the site (such as in surfing) and then immediately left the site.

The Top 20 is a ranking of overall performance for the most recent six-week testing period. We use the data we collect to determine a composite score when determining our Top 20 each week.
Delivery + Unique + Sitting Balance + Bounce Rate + New Visitors + Actual Results = Overall Ranking
Our work started back in 2002 with the very first and only Hit Exchange Report. Armed with a degree in mathematics and statistics, we sought to answer the relevant question regarding Hit Exchanges, “Are they delivering as promised?” This popular report is produced weekly and on average collects and analyzes 1,000,000 hits.
What is unique about the Hit Exchange Report?
Delivery + Unique + Sitting Balance + Bounce Rate + New Visitors + Actual Results = Overall Ranking
The Hit Exchange Report has been serving the needs of the advertising community since 2002.
Let’s take a look at the facts:a. There are thousands of hit exchanges.b. You have limits of time and financial resources.c. You need information to make business decisions.
You can’t judge the effectiveness of a hit exchange based on the appearance of the website. It doesn’t help just because someone says it’s effective. The amount of members a hit exchange indicates it has can be misleading. What you need are facts.
The Hit Exchange Report is something on which you can depend. Since the first Hit Exchange Report of November 11, 2002, weekly updates have been provided for members. The report has been unfailingly published once a week. There hasn’t been one single week missed.
The Hit Exchange Report currently publishes a list of the Top 20 hit exchanges. On what facts is this list based? Taken into account is the amount of traffic a hit exchange can handle. This is what is referred to as “raw hits.” If we are expecting a hit exchange to deliver 10,000 hits, how long does this take?Unique hits are important. Does one person look at our website 10,000 times? Or do 10,000 people look at it once each? Where each hit exchange falls between these two extremes is essential. A percentage of unique visitors of 70% indicates that out of the 10,000 views of our website, 7000 were distinct individuals.
Does the hit exchange deliver as promised? If we purchase 10,000 hits from a hit exchange, we expect them to be delivered in a timely manner. Which hit exchanges sit on credits? Which cannot deliver as promised. The Hit Exchange Report is the only source of information on where you can best place your time and resources.
The greatest benefit of using the Hit Exchange Report is knowing that you have accurate, statistical information to base your decisions. Full data on each hit exchange recommended are provided. You don’t need to worry if a hit exchange can deliver or not.

Increase Website Traffic | The Door To Opportunity
By TrafficHoopla Team July 26, 2008
The Door To Opportunity
Opportunities and motivation are connected. Motivated people seeopportunities, and opportunities are often what motivate people.
Great Attitudes precede great opportunities. Who you are determineswhat you see.
Today is the best day for an opportunity. Opportunity always takes“now” for an answer.
Opportunities are the result of pluck, not luck. The people whosucceed seek out opportunities, and if they can’t find them, theycreate them.
Opportunities don’t present themselves in ideal circumstances. Ifyou wait for all the lights to turn green, you will never leaveyour driveway.
Opportunity without commitment will be lost. Abandonedopportunities are never lost - they are simply pursued by thecompetition.
Opportunity is birthed out of problems. If you’re looking for a BIGopportunity, find a BIG problem.
Opportunities either multiply or disappear. The more opportunitiesyou pursue, the more you find behind them.
Opportunities must be nourished if they are to survive. As PeterDrucker, the father of modern management, says, “Feed anopportunity; starve a problem.”

Statistical data that can be measured and verified!
Our focus here at TestHoopla is on statistical data that can be measured and verified. We take anecdotal evidence with a serious grain of salt. There are plenty of other good services out there who offer opinions, commentaries, good ole boy network, and play an important role in this industry. But as for us, we are all about answering the question, “Are they delivering as promised?”
What is anecdotal evidence?
In the Internet marketing world, it often takes the form of testimonials. For example: “This program is FANTASTIC! I’ve made thousands of dollars with it!” It’s brimming with enthusiasm, but there isn’t much to back up the implication that you will achieve similar results. It does show that you can find someone somewhere to say most anything.
Facts AboutSafelist Advertising
95% of safelists are totally ineffective, meaning they NEVER have a single response from their members EVER. There are those that do work though, and we make sales everyday from them.
“The lights are on, but nobody’s home.”
This popular expression applies very well to at least 95% of the safelists available on the Internet today.
With safelists, we all know that millions of email messages fill countless boxes all over the world. Most of the email ads are deleted en masse without even being seen. Many people take the defeatist attitude that safelists are therefore worthless. The truth is that they are worthless, the way most people use them.
The key to safelist success is using only tested safelists. We’ve spent extensive time evaluating and testing thousands of safelists. The statistic that 95% of safelists are totally ineffective, meaning they NEVER have a single response from their members EVER, has held true across the two years we’ve been testing.
This is what we recommend: Gear up your resources, subscribe to the Safelist Report, and join ALL of the current top ranked safelists. There are people there to read your ads. Then follow along with us and delete your membership with those safelists we no longer recommend.
The shot gun approach doesn’t work with Safelists!
Automatic submitters feature the “gunshot” approach to advertising safelists. Some people will use submitters to email thousands of safelists with the idea that if you send out enough ads, someone is bound to respond.
It sounds like a good idea, but what is the major drawback? The trouble with this concept is that enormous resources are needed to handle all the incoming mail. You’d receive thousands and thousands of email messages a day - mostly from worthless safelists. Our testing has revealed that 95% of safelists on submitters are also ineffective. “Ineffective” means that they NEVER have a response from their membership EVER.
Instead of wasting resources on worthless safelists, it makes much better sense to join the effective safelists identified in the Safelist Report.
Our stats are real.
We use them ourselves to make advertising decisions. Too many numbers are boring to most people; that’s why we provide this service. All serious marketers know they should track, but don’t have the time or resources.

The Current StartXchange Ranking Review Testing
Where is StartXchange? Why is StartXchange not ranked in the Hoopla Top 20? Why is StartXchange not ranked in the Hit Exchange Report? Is there a problem with StartXchange?
StartXChange is a manual hit exchange that has been around since 2001. Tim Linden, the owner, is also a programmer and writer of online software.
Because of StartXchange's popularity, many email, asking where is StartXchange in the Hoopla! rankings.
Commonly referred to as Hoopla, TrafficHoopla, Hoopla Rankings, Hoopla Top 20, etc.
HitExchangeReport.com is
Our work started back in 2002 with the very first and only Hit Exchange Report.
Let’s take a look at the facts:
a. There are thousands of hit exchanges.
b. You have limits of time and financial resources.
c. You need information to make business decisions.
You can’t judge the effectiveness of a hit exchange based on the appearance of the website. It doesn’t help just because someone says it’s effective. The amount of members a hit exchange indicates it has can be misleading. What you need are facts.
When it comes to StartXchange, we have been continuously testing it since it opened. Overall, it's a good manual hit exchange and it's owner is a nice guy. His talent for programming and writing software is second to none. We've considered his services on many occasions and think he should be included on your list of considerations for such needs.
As far as StartXchange, and it's stats ...
The most current Hit Exchange Report collected and analyzed more than 4165 hits from StartXchange. This number is about average for what we've collected and analyzed from StartXchange for every report in 2008.
If we expanded our rankings to more than a Top 20, StartXchange would be there every week. The 2 numbers that appear to be it's weakest are ...
1. Bounce Rate (currently 65.38%)
2. Results (currently 0, on average between .03 and 0)
The most current Hit Exchange Report collected and analyzed hits from more than 1929 sites and the average bounce rate was 59.18%. Of the current Top 20 hit exchanges, 38.8 % is best and at least 10 of the exchanges produce bounce rates less than 50%.
Why is bounce rate important? In and of itself, bounce rate is not the "be-all" of stats, however, it is important. Bounce rate reveals the percentage of people viewing your site and performing no action, no activity of any kind.
An action or activity includes things such as clicking a link or button, viewing another page, requesting more info, making a purchase, joining (free or otherwise), etc. A bounce rate stat reveals much more than results, it reveals interest, activity, a live person, etc. And in the world of hit exchanges, none of us what zombies simply viewing to earn another credit, we want responses.
Have you heard of an auto-surf exchange? First, we are NOT about auto-surfing exchanges of any kind. Why? Because statistically speaking, they produce little to no results.
If you were testing an auto-surf exchange, bounce rate is typically 85% or greatly, and frequently above 95%.
The second number of weakness from StartXchange is results, and we are not exclusively talking about signup's to TrafficHoopla. We have many goals set to track results of various kinds, from many sites/pages, and from multiple participants. Most are simple and cost no money, and all consistently produce good results on top manual hit exchanges.
All of the current Top 20 hit exchanges produce results.
Final note: Delivery + Unique + Sitting Balance + Bounce Rate + New Visitors + Actual Results = Overall Ranking. No one component is all-important in and of itself. We use the data we collect to determine a composite score when determining our Top 20 each week.

Statistics this week cover June 9 to July 20, 2008. The Hit Exchange Report is updated every Tuesday. Next update: July 29, 2008.
The Top 20 is a ranking of overall performance for the most recent six-week testing period. We use the data we collect to determine a composite score when determining our Top 20 each week.
Delivery + Unique + Sitting Balance + Bounce Rate + New Visitors + Actual Results = Overall Ranking
New! Raw Tracking Analysis represents hits to special tracking used to judge action or non-action on the part of visitors. Some hit exchanges have more responsive visitors than others.
New! Special Tracking Results shows the percentage of visitors that completed the action for each specific hit exchange. This is known as the rate of conversion.
New! The Bounce Rate indicates what percentage of visitors looked at the site (such as in surfing) and then immediately left the site.
The Top 20 is brought to you each week after analyzing the data of nearly 100 hit exchanges. All Hit Exchanges are given an equal opportunity to accrue hits. Exchanges that sit on credits are used less often. All figures are a function of how many members the exchange has, how easy their services are to use, viewing time, the ratio of views to hits, etc.
With the great proliferation of new exchanges multiplying on the Internet each week, statistics are more important than ever. The Top 20 is a very clean and productive collection of hit exchanges that have proven to work.

Top 10 safelists are selected based on overall performance for the last six weeks. The ranking is determined by using statistics that can be measured and verified.
Why just 10? Although there are hundreds of safelists online today, statistically most are worthless. From our testing and advertising experience, 20 safelists are good and 10 are best. Focus on the best to increase and maximize your advertising.
SO WHAT’S NEXT? Use the Top 10 to plan and organize your advertising. Focus first on the very best and then expand your advertising. Take note of every section in this report. All the rankings, trends, etc. will greatly help you. And the “Advanced Section” is truly advanced and stuff you won’t find elsewhere.

Increase Website Traffic Results
By TrafficHoopla Team July 14, 2008
We are a US-based Internet advertising company, serving as a web portal for Internet marketers worldwide to increase web site traffic.
Our site functions like a gateway, providing links to current top-ranked advertising resources. Use this web portal and follow our instructions to build 10,000 to 15,000 and even more than 20,000 daily hits.

Concept
We focus on current top-ranked advertising resources that offer us the ability to earn traffic from our efforts as well as a percentage of the traffic earned by those we refer.
Earn traffic. Refer others. Provide them the opportunity to do the same. Reap traffic!
History
No experience. No knowledge. No business. No website. And no idea where to start.
Then after stumbling and being led astray many times, I came to realize the fact I was missing the key ingredient, website traffic. Moreover, it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to understand, no traffic produces nothing. Zero … No business, no opt-in list, no branding, and no sales.
I then spent the next 2 years doing nothing but building website traffic in the exact same format you will find here. I used top ranked advertising resources everyday to refer others and in time it generated 10,000 to 15,000 and eventually more than 20,000 daily hits.
Do as we do and you too will see similar results.
